Group Therapy
Circle of Security Parenting
Full program, in person together!
Are you a parent of a child aged 3-5? Join us for an 8-week parenting program called Circle of Security Parenting (CoSP) focused on giving parents the skills and resources to understand and regulate their child's big emotions, learn how to identify what their child needs, and build a path towards secure attachment. Based on decades of research, CoSP is the path to "good enough" parenting.

Facilitated by Clinical Psychologist, Dr Tory Dax
5:30-7pm Tuesday
8-week program starting April 28
Foundations Perinatal & Child Psychology Centre, 1 Potts Street, East Brisbane
For parents of children aged 3-5 years
What will we cover?
The Circle of Security (CoSP) parenting program is a path to “good enough” parenting. Based on decades of attachment research, CoSP is an 8-week program to help caregivers understand their child’s emotions, respond to their child’s needs and build secure attachment.
Our first group is for parents of children aged 3-5 years
Why is child age important? We will be learning about early attachment and we know that early secure attachment sets a foundation of emotion regulation and social functioning. Developmentally, this will look really different as children (and parents) grow. It's also just fab to meet parents with children of a similar age so that you can connect over shared experiences.

Why 8 weeks?
Each week there is new content to cover within the group program. That means that it is really important to allow sufficient time to put these strategies into practice at home - then come back to connect over circle stories, refine processes, and try again. Each week not only covers new information, but it an opportunity to share with other parents and get realtime feedback and input from a Clinical Psychologist.
Why in person?
We know that telehealth sessions can be a fantastic option for busy parents, but we are cultivating a group program to allow parents to be fully present and engaged in the sessions (and have a break from parenting!), create connections, and it's an opportunity to be together in our beautiful, relaxed environment at Foundations.
